Derrick Rose was the MVP of the league this past year, and definitely showed that he was a superstar who could carry his Bulls team deep into the playoffs.

With some fresh legs, added depth in Rip Hamilton, and a shortened season the Bulls are primed to make another run at the NBA finals.

With MVP Derrick Rose leading the charge, it will be very interesting to see whether or not the team can make it past the roadblocks in their way. There are many rising teams in the NBA, the Thunder are always getting better, the Heat are still the same horrible excuse for a team, the Lakers Spurs and Celtics are still contenders, the Clippers got a lot better, and the Knicks are rising. This season is sure to be filled with intrigue and excitement. It will definitely be interesting to see where the Bulls and Derrick Rose fit into that equation.
