His ridiculous assortment of skills and athletic abilities have allowed him to transcend the game on many levels, and as he has grown as a player, he has proven that he is one of the most prolific and polarizing figures of our time.

Right now, he is at the cusp of a huge milestone, becoming the youngest player to 20,000 points, 5,000 rebounds, and 5,000 assists. The unique skillset he possesses, his athleticism, his speed, his power, his court vision, his eye for the rebound, his ability to make teammates better, his ridiculous talent on the fast break, or his slowly improving ability to finally come up big in the clutch (As he proved in last year's finals and at the London Olympics) have allowed him to claim the title of the best player on the planet.
