Ricky Rubio, one of the most interesting rookies in the league, is going to be playing his first year in the NBA with the Wolves this year. It remains to be seen what kind of impact the kid will have, but he is definitely someone you will want to watch this year.

The Wolves are much stronger than many people estimate them, and they have a strong young group that may contend for the playoffs in later years.

With a group of players like Rubio, Love, and the new top pick from the draft, Williams, the Wolves have put together a group of guys that will be able to develop together and perhaps do something the way Oklahoma city has done with their young core.

They have a strong frountcourt and a very deep backcourt, despite their youth. The Timberwolves may not be making an immediate splash, but they are definitely in the ranks with many other up and coming teams.

Ricky Rubio is one of the top PG's from his home country of spain, and has quite a bit of experience, in some very very big games for a rookie his age. He has played with Pau Gasol for the Spanish national team, and showed that he knows how to play big when he is under pressure. It will be a very interesting season for Rubio, or "La Pistola" as he leads the Wolves into the season. Inspired by the Linkin Park Album.
